My father was not there, my grandmother was not there and I could no longer see them when I wanted to. I couldn’t understand why he was not with us. I wanted my dad, but he was off doing his own thing, making a life with someone else. This was very overwhelming to me as a young girl because I needed my father’s love. Yes, I had my mother’s love but that didn’t seem to be enough for me. I always felt like I wasn’t loved but in reality my mother loved me dearly. I resented the fact that my father was with someone else and giving his love to them. I abhorred the thought of him raising another family, giving and showing them the affection that was designed initially for me and my sisters.
How could this be? Why did he take his love from us and give it to someone who was not worthy of his love? Did he not know that he already had others who loved him? Why did he misuse my mother and abandon his three beautiful girls who loved him so much? Questions bombarded my very being, filtered through my mind and overshadowed my emotions with sadness and confusion that became buried deep within. It was overwhelming knowing that my father would not be there in my life to watch me grow up. He wouldn’t be there for me to ask him questions about boys nor could I get his advice on things that would come up in my life.

About the Book
Life can be very difficult growing up in a single parent family as well as being exposed to situations that are not conductive to the wellbeing of a child. In this book the author shares her life's many challenges in order to reach out to those who are currently experiencing any type of abuse. Her desire is to also reach those young people who are on the brink of making wrong choices that would lead them into bondage. Her purpose is to let them know that the Lord Jesus Christ came and died so that they could have life and that more abundantly.
Jesus wants all to be free and whole not entangled in the snares that satan has laid out for them. SHe understands and knows that It is easy to become distracted especially when everyone around them are not concerned about living a clean, holy and santified life.Everyone have the need to be wanted, loved, respected, needed and appreciated.These needs tends to override one's willpower and they can find themselves falling into sin which will eventually lead them into bondage and captivity. This book was written to let others know that they are precious in the eyes of the Lord and they don't have to live in bondage but can be set free by letting the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives. It doesn't matter what they have done in life and are currently doing , Jesus wants to deliver them set them free.They too can be " Birth out of Bondage."
