About the Book

The Butterfly Hunt tells the story of Maddie Sue Beckett, a self-proclaimed butterfly hunter who dreamt of becoming the world’s first seven-year- old female scientist and hoped her recognition would come by her finding a rare butterfly that her city’s museum could not find. Maddie Sue knew of a secret place where the city’s museum had not looked. She would later discover that her secret place came with a valuable lesson.

About the Author

Connie C. Selby is a first time author of children stories; she is a mother of two and a grandmother of two little boys. She was born in Alabama but live in New Jersey.
Connie once read that “Every person has a book to write” and she wanted her first book to be written for the enjoyment of children.
