“Okay, break it up! Break it up!”
Security had quite a time getting the two women off each other. In tears, the smaller of the two didn’t look much like a fighter. She was definitely scared and sat shivering and whimpering like a lost child. On the other hand, the larger of the two...there was something about her. It was pretty easy to tell just by appearances she must have started the fight. Her nostrils flaring, eyes bulging and a vein on her forehead looked ready to burst. This lady had issues.
"Alright, who started this fight and just what would cause two grown women to cat fight in the middle of a baby store?” The larger of the two spoke right up.
“I told the little bitch to take her hands off the last pink sleeper that was on sale. We’re taking our first trip away since Isabella was born. I want everything to be perfect. Perfect! All she had to do was give me the sleeper, but nooooo...!
The woman was screeching, totally out of control in front of patrons, sales staff and the guards. Everyone looked on embarrassed for the crazy lady, when the smaller of the two women spoke.
"She grabbed it right out of my hands! I was so stunned that I held on, told her to let go, and she started beating the shit out of me! She’s crazy!"
“Why you little minx! How dare you call me crazy! Do you have any idea who you’re talking to?”
Suddenly, the lady stopped screaming, and her face became an expression of sheer terror.
“Isabella! Isabella! Oh God, I’m sorry honey, Mommy will be right there!”
It had suddenly occurred to Teresa that she was aisles from where the fight broke out, and Isabella was still in her buggy completely unattended. Teresa rose to run to the buggy only to be stopped by both security guards.
“Let me go you bastards! My baby! My baby! She’s’ in the buggy! I need to get my baby! Isabella!”
“Wait a minute, are you telling us your baby is here?”
“Yes, and it’s your fault! You took me away from my baby!”
“We didn’t see a baby lady. There was nothing in the aisle with you. Where did you put her? You started a fight with your child in the store? You just sit right here while we go take a look.”
The larger and the older of the security guards, decided that he should stay with the ladies. He wasn’t about to let this nut loose.< body="">

Julie Garland is my married name, my THIRD married name. As it might imply, I've been busy in relationships, building them and at times tearing them down. The first marriage blessed me with two children Jeff and Angie. Now grown, they have blessed me again with four grandchildren; the eldest boy graduating high school this year. It has occurred to me that time is marching on faster than ever, and I've barely started my "Bucket List."
I've always wanted to write, or compose a book. I see myself as an author. I envision myself writing many books and having a robust following. I love how the words just spill out. At times it's as if the story writes itself, and I am simply the pen.
