About the Book

To all human beings on this planet, especially  human beings who are living the life – accountable functioning human beings – and who are therefore responsible for molding and shaping the world into what it is and what it remains to be. This book is mostly about the life and living of the life for human beings and what is needed in order to mold and shape the world into what it is meant to be.

The House that Life Built is coming from the heart, mind and soul of an accountable functioning human being on this planet who feels a need to express what it takes to mold and shape one self  which will ultimately mold and shape the world as a whole. It is more or less portrayed in a life’s journey on what life is believed to be for all human beings on this planet and how that impacts the world as it is and continues to be.

This journey is based upon a theory that life is a gift to this planet which in turn requires three functions in order to survive. The three functions are believed to be what a human being is all about starting from birth and for the duration of a lifetime. The idea is that each functioning human being on this planet has to feed his/her soul in order to make the person or personalities grow. With respect the feeding, it is what kind of food and how it is delivered that is key.

This journey is summarized with the belief that the ultimate answer to all of life challenges is by far the understanding that there is a force or a most powerful direction, if you will, that is above and beyond anything and anybody on this planet.

About the Author

I came into this world with the luxury of having a healthy birth at home and a most gracious welcome from a  loving mother and a caring father as well as excited siblings. I grew up in a small town called Church Point which is located in the southwestern part of Louisiana. I attended elementary school at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School in Church Point and Carter G. Woodson High School in Lawtell, Louisiana. I then went on and received a bachelor's degree in business economics from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I married my college sweetheart, Murray K. Douglas, on August 9, 1969. We moved to Denver, Colorado the same year as Murray accepted a teaching position with Denver Public Schools. We welcomed two sons into this world and on July 23, 1994 we added a daughter-in-law and step-granddaughter into our family and a year later welcomed a grandson. I was employed as an insurance professional  for a greater part of my career but had to go on disability retirement in 2002 due to health and welfare reasons.

I  have become a righteous person or so that’s the belief for myself. My desires are to always try and do  what is considered  good and right in the name of righteousness. To believe that I am a righteous person makes me live my life and function with that kind of a mind-set. That is my house now and  I am happy in  The House that Life Built.
