About the Book

A Black man's struggle through the military in America. The author kept a journal of activities throuhout his life. After being asked numerous time to put into words those achievements to inspire readers to look into the life of a child who heard over time "most likely not to succeed"and rose above those negative comments. The author shares his early years, college, military career and assignments, private industry, his minstry as a Pernament Deacon, and founder of a Safety and Environmental Engineering and Construction company.


About the Author

Walter H. Richardson, a remarkable person, was born at the beginning of the depression in the year 1929. The only son of Lilly, an unwed mother. His success is attributed to a loving mother, a school teacher and his AME Methodist church. Fully utilizing the singing talents inherited from his great grandfather, he entered numerous perceived closed doors of opportunities through courage, faith, and strong self-discipline. He and his lovely wife have raised and educated eight children. He acheived the highest enlisted rank,Chief Master Sergeant,  in the United States Air Force. Walter became an ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church and  a very successful business owner. He has every reason to devote time to share the true love and knowledge of God, "How Great Thou Art."
