My life was not always so happy and carefree. Things happened to me that no one knew about. No one could fathom such an act. No one could imagine that anyone could molest a little girl…a little, innocent girl who did not deserve any of it. I cannot remember the exact date or time but I can remember sneaking into the back room with him and “doing it”. That is what he asked me, “Do you want to do it?” I did not want it but I did not know how to stop it. I wanted so badly to say “NO” but it did not come out of my mouth. As time went on, the molestation continued. I do not know when it ended. All I know is that it left a permanent mark in my mind.

What events in your childhood helped shape you into the person you are today? It could be as subtle as the way your parents interacted or a tragic event such as abuse or neglect. Take a trip with Stacy as she travels through life remembering the terrible molestation that happened to her. Without realizing it, she made decisions in her life based on those dark nights many years ago. No child should ever have to experience what she did.
About the Author
Born in Aiken, SC in 1972, I enjoyed life with my parents and four siblings. I always enjoyed writing and often dreamed of writing a book but I could never really pinpoint the subject. The dream came alive in a Sunday school class. It was there that I realized my tragic childhood experience shaped me into who I was until that point but it did not have to hinder me from becoming the person I was meant to be. I accepted and embraced that it was not my fault and decided to be a beacon of light for someone else. I really hope that you or someone you know will benefit from my life experiences.
