About the Author

Darlene Stottlemyre enjoys a fast paced style of writing. Her worst fear is of boring someone into a coma with too many words. She is tenacious about her decision to use humor where she can within the suspense. Living in rural Missouri, she has been a nurse, a sign painter, a poet, a waitress and an artist. She currently works as a teachers’ aid for three to five year olds. Maybe that’s where her ability to see humor so easily comes from. She may have grown a lot in her lifetime but, she absolutely refuses to grow up. Don’t try to make her. It’s not pretty to see a grown woman throw herself on the floor and produce a tantrum out of thin air.
