God Wants Us Whole

            God Wants Us Whole is a non-fiction book; it tells how a girl four years old was raped and never told anybody until she reached the age of 42.

Judy Hammond’s birthplace was Mount Vernon, Georgia, a small town close to Savannah, Georgia. At the time of her rape she was living with her mother, aunt, uncle and grandfather in South Georgia.

            After the tragedy, her mother brought her to Atlanta where they joined her father, but at the time not knowing he was really  her stepfather.

            After finishing high school, she married and had a child. The marriage lasted one year. She divorced and lived in a way for which she later had to ask for forgiveness because it was not in the manner her parents had raised her.

            After many heartaches and tears, even raising a child on her own, she gave her life to the Lord. Now a sold- out Christian (advocate), she was learning all she could about the Lord Jesus Christ.

            She became a faithful worker in the church, doing all she could to please the Lord. After leading her church in a powerful march in the largest, well- known drug neighborhood in the inter-city of Atlanta, in a neighood called “The Bluff”), and without all the support she had wanted, she felt she had done all she could do for the neighborhood. With the help of the Lord, she moved on.

            A month after the march, she had a visitation from God. He told her that she must reveal what had happened to her as a child. But many years would pass before she could tell her story.

At first she told it to the church she was attending at the time. Now she wants to tell the world. This is my childhood testimony.

            As you read the first pages of this book, it would seem as if a child is writing it. That’s because it is written  as a four year old saw life at that time. As you continue to read, you will see how God developed and molded her into a Christian woman who has all the faith in the world in her God. Understanding how God protected her until the appointed time for her to realize the real truth about herself. She prays this book will help the wounded; console the broken-hearted; and minister to unbelievers.
