Keep Smiling When the world is spinning around you and the going gets tiring - Keep smiling! All isn’t at a loss when the start of the day is fast! Look around you and notice the scenery and smile! And in time a day will come that will have sunshine and no rain! We sit in our offices and work at the store or even in an assembly line and find it hard to smile! Maybe if we only smile those around will see the meaning of friendship in our face and in truth smile back, not even realizing they are making a difference in your life! Keep on smiling – Though you don’t feel like it and the day could brighten up on it's own. Lonely Chair
Who enjoys you on a beautiful day? An old man’s fishing pole’s line dangling in the water or a child watching, anticipating a fish to jump out of the lake? Maybe you are waiting for a person such as me? “Sit in me,” you softly whisper. Sit and be still! See the beauty and smell the wonder of a quiet day! A breeze is slightly moving the lazy pier. The sun rays are melting worries and stress away! Alone on this pier with the warmth of peace, tiny noises of nature are all around. Waves splashing the wood pilings, ducks playing and birds in the distance singing out for all to hear! Family and friends, home and work! A tear comes to my eyes as I think of my life! To be able to sit in that lonely chair and know I’m not

About the Book
One day about 4 years ago I decided to take a camera with me when I went for walks by myself and today I have put together a book of what I've been doing as a creative way to express life and what it can mean to one person. This endeavor (creation) was suggested by a close friend at work.
Please read this book of reflections and in quiet times of your own you can find a want to express what it is like to be human, alone with your own thoughts on warm and stormy days! Hopefully a smile will make your face warm with the understanding of true peace even on the roughest days!
Have you ever wanted to make the world shine in a silent moment and then a thought comes to you that had to be written down? What do you see? I see a thin piece of ice barely holding on, like myself after a hard day and no time to slow down, but you do anyway! Maybe you also feel this way sometimes. About the Author
"Please read to the very end. There is a special message for a very special niece Maggie." I'm the oldest of 6 children. Memories of growing up to young and the responsibilities of being the oldest made me who I am today. Sometimes a picture in the early morning has got to be taken. My mind then has thoughts of what this picture means and I find anything to write on - an old receipt or a napkin, sometimes I use the back of an opened envelope found under the car seat. Daily we go through life and thoughts run wild in our minds. We have full lives and fall into the trap of too much to do and no time for self! Then we add to this where do we find peace in a hurried-up pace with no privacy at home to relax? "Morning Reflections; Quiet Endurance" Quiet thoughts of Beauty with photos, a thought comes to mind and it screams to be brought out for all to see. Like a child and the love she or he can give just by looking up at you. Or a sun rise of the most brilliant beauty! My camera is a true friend with expressions of a thought coming alive: a word expressing details & the camera’s lens seeing as it looks upon nature. Marilea Pierce P.S.
