Thank you for sparing my life today,

Thank you for listening when I kneel down to pray.

Thank you for strength when I am weak,

Thank you for making me humble and meek.

Thank you for patience when I’m moving too fast,

Thank you for showing, hard times don’t last.

Thank you for teaching me to love, in a world of hate,

Thank you for the time, so that I am never late.

Thank you for watching over me as I slept,

Thank you for all the promises that you have kept,

Thank you for having the will to live,

Thank you for the blessings you have to give.

Thank you for allowing me to live another year,

Thank you for being the only one I need to fear.

Thank you for faith without asking why,

Thank you for giving me courage to try.

Thank you for salvation, for it is free,

Thank you for being so good to me.

Thank you for consoling me when I have a loss,

Thank you for your son who died on the cross.
