"When the powerless speak truth and wisdom, And the powerful fail to listen, All humanity suffers" In this book, I describe two immense tragedies that resulted when original inhabitants of lands were living in peace, welcomed newcomers and were willing to share, but were run off their lands through dishonest treaties with the full support of religious zealots within government. Their people were destroyed while the world stood by and failed to listen to the spiritual goodness of those people–a tragic part of American history. I cannot help but wonder how many innocent lives could have been saved had the Powerful bothered to listen to truth and wisdom of the Powerless and worked together for peace and dignity for all peoples. It is no doubt that language was a problem during the early years of European immigration to this country; however, history speaks of some who found a way through the use of body language, eye contact, and hand signs to communicate successfully for peace that most surely came from wisdom. Shamefully, promises were broken by the powerful who lacked wisdom. The generosity of American Corporations and private citizens to meet the needs of the powerless both at home and abroad, goes unrecognized by many in the world as their goodness is overshadowed by the arrogance and misguided activities of those ln power. When our elected leaders lack the courage to do what is just and right for the good of all, our Nation will continue to disappoint God and, as a result, will be of no significance to the rest of the world. Non-government entities use their assets to meet God’s needs for people around the world and in the true American spirit that all things be done from the “goodness of the heart”.

J did not have those writings professionally published but had them locally printed and donated to all major genealogy libraries around the country where I had conducted my research, including the local library in
When I learned of the recent translation of the “Secret Gospel of Thomas”, I was quite surprised that the messages in those writings closely mirrored my personal spiritual journey and from that, I wrote my first published book in 2005, Eternal Threads: A Journey Towards Discovery. My current book is an outgrowth of that experience which challenged me to dig deeper into my memories.
