About the Book

"The Law of Attraction, The Law of Gratitude, The Secret; all presented within the pages of a hilarious novel of discovery."

This serious but hilarious adventure transports the reader from rural South Georgia to the Indian Sub-Continent, Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, Central America, and back again, and on the way collides with the December 26, 2004 tsunami. As the protagonist, the victim of a failing memory, discovers his past, he shares his belief that man individually and collectively is responsible for his lack and for his abundance, and for his joy and his suffering. To make happiness possible, God gave man humor and dogs.

About the Author

Kenneth Ray Taylor has lived in Japan and Thailand, and has traveled extensively. He currently lives in his home state, Georgia, but was residing on the island of Phuket, Thailand when the December 26, 2004 tsunami rolled ashore and impacted the lives of millions.

That fateful morning as he brewed his morning tea, the glass doors on his beach front home began to rattle furiously yet the sea was calm, and the palm fronds limp. It was a beautiful morning. He did not foresee the hell that would follow a couple of hours later.

He is a writer, public speaker, and humorist. He has studied psychic phenomena and spiritualism for many years, and he currently has three novels in print: Beyond The Shadow Of Death, Return To Zero, and Standup Comedian.

Return To Zero is a sequel to Beyond The Shadow of Death. The author is currently writing a third novel that will place the main characters on the beach in Phuket, Thailand where the tsunami will change their lives forever.

The tsunami story also forms a part of the novel, Standup Comedian, which takes the reader from rural South Georgia to the Indian Sub-continent, Southeast Asia, Australia, Central America, and back again.
