I had to be careful as the floors were sometimes slippery causing my legs to go in all directions but I loved all the different smells that were around me. In some shops where we went they even had rows of dog biscuits and smelly packets, it was so tempting that once or twice I managed to eat a biscuit that had fallen onto the floor. Liz was not pleased with me and I would be told off.

The story of a Golden Retriever puppy called Sam. It follows his adventures as a puppy, going through his training and then qualifying as a Guide Dog. Forming a close bond and friendship with his new owner Jane.
About the Author
Maura Walsh is married with two grown up children. She lives in Northamptonshire, England. She lost her sight about ten years ago and after being successful in applying for a Guide Dog has now been a Guide Dog owner for six years with her first dog called Tracey who is a Golden Retriever. This is her first book.
