They had not gone more than a few hundred feet when they got a whiff of something dead. For the rest of the way down, they had no more to do than follow the smell.
Before long they came upon the body, or what was left of it. One could see there was little flesh left on the bones. The animals tore his clothes mostly off of him. Both of his hands were gone along with a few of his other bones.
“Who in the hell could have done it and why?”
Those who got too close and saw too much never came out again to tell their story

Mountain Horror is about an unexpected turn of events in a man’s life that took him into places he never dreamed he would have to go and to experience things he couldn’t have imagined. This turn of events would save lives; unfortunately some could not be saved. He would be forever changed.
About the Author
Born in Eastern Kentucky on the western slopes of the
Being one of seven children who grew up in a house in the far reaches of a hollow, education was something hardly ever thought about. However, he loved to listen to old timers tell stories of their lives and the things that had happened in the mountains in the past.
Looking back years later and remembering those stories he became inspired to write about the mountains he loved and how the people once lived there.
