About the Book

I would like to dedicate this book to all the people who have encouraged me in my writing poetry and have listened to me read it also.  They have been very supportive and respectful in allowing me my privacy when I begin to write.  They did not interfere or demand my attention until I was finished.  I want to thank them for all the consideration they have shown to me.  The love they gave me when I needed a hug.  Writing Christian poetry is where you need to have some quite time to spend and meditate with your lord.  I thank you who help me put this book together.  Also to Author House Publishing Co. for doing such a super job in publishing this book of poetry for me and giving me a chance to get my poems in book stores and on the Internet.  Thank you so much for helping to make my dreams come true may God bless each and every one of you and may God bless this book by sending it out into all parts of the world.

About the Author

I would like to tell you a little about myself.  I am Ola Robbins and I was born July 14, 1942 in a small town in Arkansas called Jerusalem.  I lived on a farm until I finished high school with honors. Then I moved to Malvern Arkansas to live with my sister until I found a job that is how I meet my husband Carl Robbins.  We have two son’s Tim and wife Terrie and Carlton Robbins, Two granddaughters Britnie, Emily and one grandson Carlton Jr.  My family has been very supportive in my writing poetry.  They love for me to read my poems to them.  I was inspired to write poetry when I was in school but other things took prestige over it but in 1991 my desire to write again came to the forefront and by God’s leading me again began to write Christian poetry.   Also I want people to read it so they can be blessed, comforted, and give their lives to the service of the lord and inspiring them to use their time and talents for him.   I am a member of Taylor’s Chapel Mbc. I have sung solo’s and been in the church choir for years.  Most of the time in the early morning or when I have time to sit and meditate upon the lord or sometimes my husband will tell me he misses me in the night, That God gives me the poems he wants me to write.  I have had poems published by the International Library Poetry, The Noble House, and Famous Poetry Society.  I hope whoever chooses to read this book will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.  Writing is my way of expressing myself and my inner feelings that I cannot express otherwise.
