As I awake a new day, I visualize and desperately think of what I could
Have done to better my world.
As I reflect through the darkness that now surrounds me, my soul trembles at the shadows of my future.
My eternity now becomes my final destination!
It was only yesterday that I played the world like a fiddlestick,
I laughed and I cried to the beat of the world.
I relished the sensation and the temptation that surrounded me,
I engulfed to be liked, to be accepted.
I hated to be different, to be right because I would be rejected.
I could remember my promise I whispered to my father that I would commit unconditionally, that I would transform my heart to be a witness and an inspiration with my very existence.
Instead I was self centered wasting everyday as if I always had a tomorrow.
Tomorrow never came.
Here I am now alone and surrounded by torturing memories that I must live with the remaining of my life.
I thought I had forever to get it right,
I thought I had tomorrow to keep my point, to win my fight.
I thought I held reason to delay my destiny due to my past hurt, past wrong decisions I made, past sins that remained unforgiving for.
Now the maker is knocking at my door.
My excuses bare no purpose now, I lived only for man.
I lived for me.
I now fret the consequence of not accepting the gift,
“Life after death”
NOW I SEE.
My past relationships that I took for granted, that opportunity comes no more, the life I took lightly, I live no more, the body I abused and allowed Satan to use I have no more, for my flesh is now diminished.

Karmen Jackson was inspired to write this book in memory of her mother (Elvira Chester) to help motivate and captivate the hearts of man....
Karmen stands a Cancer Survivor. The deadly disease almost diminished her existance only in a matter of 3 short months in the year of "1994"
God has given her a second chance to inspire others through her gift to share with the world her soul so that others may be helped and moved to go beyond all limitations that may beset them..
As a survivor given a second opportunity at life, Karmen plans to continue her legacy of creativity wasting no time. For "time is of the essence"
