About the Author

Tony L Marshall was born and raised in Berkeley, California on June 28, 1968. He is the third child born into a very talented and gifted family. He discovered his talent as a writer at a very young age. Writing poetry and love song lyrics was the beginning of his future in writing.

He graduated from Berkeley High in 1986 and then attended Laney College, where he studied English, developing his skills and interest in writing. His novel writing was disclosed to only a few people of whom he felt could be trusted, along with sending copies of his novel to several publishers. He had completed his first novel and began working on his second when the journal that contained his precious works was lost. This would determine his avail or his defeat.

Fortunately, he decided to persevere and continue his writing and publishing feat. While in pursuit of being published, his poetry began to take center stage. Tony performed his poetry at live venues in the bay area.  Poems like Foolish and Not A Stalker were recited to crowds at Dorsey’s Locker in Oakland, CA, and Coach’s Sports Grill, in Pinole, CA. He recited his poetry at family functions including anniversaries, birthdays etc.  

In his ten plus year pursuit to be a published author, his first completed novel, Love, Lies & Obsession is an intriguing and perfect introduction to many more novels to follow.  Tony L. Marshall now resides in the east bay with his family.
