God is simply saying, “Trust me.” Trust that His word is true. Trust that He is a God that will never leave you or forsake you. Trust that He will never fail. Trust that He will wrap his arms around you and comfort you and love you unconditionally, always. Trust that where ever He’s brought you from, he can bring you from again and again and again, no matter how many times you may fall. He is a God that will never turn His back on us.
At the same time, God is also saying, “Love me openly.” God loves that you desire Him and He loves that you reach out to Him. But God is also a God that wants us to show, with high praise, how much we love and adore Him. God wants us to openly rebuke the devil and proclaim our everlasting love for our heavenly father. Just as much as we crave Him and call on Him in our minds and whisper His name when we think no one is listening, He wants us to outwardly pour our praise on Him.
There’s an excitement in thinking about the awesomeness of God and how He’s brought me through, personally. There’s just something about the goodness of Jesus; when I think about the many times I’ve gotten myself into situations and He made a way for me. There’s just something about it and thanking Him for it like there was no tomorrow, in an open and outward worship. There’s just something about that experience and those moments of praising and worshiping God outwardly and not caring who’s around. Allowing yourself to be in His presence and losing sight of your surroundings because all you can think about is your almighty father.
That’s where God wants us. He wants us totally and completely in love with Him. It’s amazing how some of us can be head-over-heels in love with a person and go above and beyond, showing everyone how much we care about that person. But when it comes to the one who allowed us to be with that person we get so head-over-heels about, our outward expressions are limited and numbered. It becomes hard for us to find words to describe Him, and it’s hard for us to find ways to show our emotions towards Him.
Just as we broke through all that mess and baggage, we must break through to our breakthrough. And don’t get me wrong, you might already be at that place where you can openly express your love for your heavenly father. But your breakthrough does not only occur once. Like I described my running to God and running away from Him, every time I fell and got back up, I received my breakthrough to go a little higher. My breakthrough didn’t come when I fell, but it came when I got back up. Every time I got up, there was that sense of longing for and wanting God. It wasn’t just wanting to know God or be near God but to do the will of God as well. Every breakthrough that you experience will be different. And every time you experience your breakthrough, you are elevated to an entirely new level.
God is so worthy of your worship and your praise. If anything, push to be better for your God, the God who saved you and the God who delivered you. Strive to be better than average for the God who covered you while all hell was breaking loose around you. Strive to be above the crowd, because God gave you the ability to do so. God could have easily given someone else your talent and your abilities, but He said, “No, there is something special in you,” and He needs and wants to see it prosper through you.

This book is developed with a certain person in mind. This person feels like she missed her one opportunity. She feels like it passed her by and she wasn’t ready for it. This person feels like it’s too late for him to be the man that he envisioned himself being. This person needs to know and be reassured that it is never too late. And God is asking this person to allow Him to use her to her fullest potential. God wants to show someone that He has placed a purpose over their life. He wants to show his daughter that He’s placed a gift within her and it needs to manifest itself. He wants to encourage His son that he didn’t miss that opportunity. God wants to show his son that while he thought he missed his chance to be that great man, God was doing some things.
Although it seems as though life is not on the road you may have planned it to be on, things are about to work out in your favor. God was just taking the time to straighten out and put the finishing touches on a new unfulfilled purpose specifically for you.
This is a piece of encouragement written to give hope, to give strength, to give reassurance, to inspire, to challenge, and to bless. Through the love and inspiration of Jesus Christ, this book was written from the heart. It was a test that has manifested into a true testimony; a part of a purpose soon to be fulfilled.
About the Author
Born in Toledo, Ohio Stephanie McBee has been focusing her life around the love of God since she was a child. From birth Stephanie grew and matured in the Lord and was raised to worship and fear the Lord. Because of her parents’ involvement with the body of Christ she has learned to serve the Lord at a tender age. Stephanie’s mother, Teresa McBee, has been an influential source in Stephanie’s life; especially musically. While Teresa was involved in various ministries within the church such as the praise and worship team, the choir, the ensemble, and many other musical ministries, Stephanie developed a love and passion for not only music but music dedicated to God just by being in the presence of her mother. At the age of six Stephanie publically gave her life over to Christ at the Family Baptist Church under the leadership of her father Charles H. McBee I. Pastor McBee has also been an influential foundation in Stephanie’s life in the area of speaking to the people of God. Through Pastor McBee’s ambition to deliver the word of God Stephanie has also developed a love and passion to encourage, uplift, and reassure the people of God of the gospel of Christ. Although growing up as the daughter of a minister seems simple and an easy lifestyle, Stephanie had to endure many physical, emotional, and spiritual attacks and trials as a child. From those experiences Stephanie learned to channel her thoughts and emotions into writing through poetry, lyrics, or passages. Today, Stephanie is an adamant young woman who is educated and passionate about reaching the young people of God, especially the young women. Miss McBee believes that God is calling each one of us for many purposes that He has yet to fulfill.
