About the Book

This text is prepared, specifically for the Black People in America. Because of lack of texts and material orientated to them, with words and phrases in which they frequently use. With the aim of helping to perpetuate and increase the learning of the language among Blacks in America.

In order to become liberated, a people must first liberate their minds. And Black people in America are the only NATION OF PEOPLE, who have been so thoroughly enslaved that our people can not communicate amongst themselves in a language that is their own. (As the Jews, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Chinese, Japanese, Arabs, Italians, etc.).

Therefore, as a necessary perquisite to liberation in the Black Struggle, the NATION OF BLACK PEOPLE must learn to speak Swahili (African) language and receive Black on Black Awareness. So that Black people will struggle with one Heart and One Mind..

About the Author

Kinyamkela Mbomoshi Kalamzi, is an Afro-American, who started studying this African Language in 1962 with a small grammar and concise.

Dictionary- a friend had secured from an African born in Kenya. Africa who taught him the basic sounds, etc.

After intense studying for about a year he began teaching others. By setting up classes of 10 or 20 people in different groups and teaching just the beginning basics of the language after reading 4-5 other Swahili books. The author ordered two large dictionaries of Swahili one Swahili-English and the other English-Swahili from Oxford University press, printed in the Kenya, Africa.

About 10 years later, he had compiled so many words and definitions that he decided to start preparing a small concise basic grammar and a small concise basic dictionary. So he started double checking words and definitions with dictionaries and books. (By this time he had brought about 8 books and tapes on the language+

The author wrote this book, principally for Americans in America to learn and speak Swahili in America. And hopefully create a new American dialect of the African Language-Swahili.
