About the Book

Monto is a baby dinosaur who is raised by elephants in our present time.  He makes a tough decision to leave and find what kind of creature he is or to stay with the family that loved and cared for him.

About the Author

My name is Meryl McCurry, and I write and illustrate my own books.  I published my first book at the age of 10.  My second was at the age of 12.  Third was 15 and fourth was 20.  Now this is my lastest, I'm 22 and have more to come.  I love creating books to help inspire youngsters so  they can do the same thing since I started at an early age myself.  I will keep on creating more books and help inspire other people to never give up on your dreams.  But my main dream is to become an animator one day.
