About the Author
Lucy Calvert currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area, but was raised in Massachusetts. Born of immigrant Italian parents, she struggled with their loving, but oppressive way of life, yet emerged a successful second generation American. Her writings have been published in newspapers, magazines and wrote a cookbook: ONCE UPON A RECIPE.
When making her decision to write a Romance novel, she knew it needed to be semi-biographic, for how else could she share the amazing 1940’s with the reader?
