About the Book

This book was written to indentify current frustrations of the Silent Majority in this country, specifically for those people that do not have time to participate in protests and picketing. The politicians on both sides of the political aisle and the media should take note. One can only sweep things under the rug for so long before someone notices a hump. The American people are tired of being ignored by their elected officials. It is just a matter of the silent majority coming together and flexing their political muscle. Many of the issues this book highlights, have been on the back burner of the proverbial political stove. If they continue to be ignored they will invariably boil over. When this happens the American people will be left with the chore and the expense of cleaning up the mess.

About the Author

I am a U.S. Army veteran, born in Indianapolis, IN., Raised in a small town in the state of Mississippi. As a former single father of four young boys, I have dealt with the day to day stress of raising a family and working long hours. Happily married now for five years,  with a larger family of 10 children. I have always sought to set a good example for my children and others by trying to grasp everything life has to offer. As an outside salesman for 20 years combined with my travels in the military, I have had the opportunity to meet and discuss various issues with everyday people from various backgrounds, from all over the country. The conversations I had with the people, that I encountered had several recurring political themes or issues. These issues, I have sought to expound on, so that others may know their frustrations are not isolated to them as individuals.

You will find references to my children and family in the text. I have sought to rely on my family background, life experiances,  education, and wit, while attempting to convey simple messages without all of the gobblety-gook, that has a tendancy to make many americans disinterested in understanding the political system. Thus they are in many cases unaware of the power they have as citizens to initiate change. It is essential, that we as a nation understand; that our greatest enemy in any battle is ignorance. It is the Goliath, that we must have courage enough to face and destroy with the most effective weapon availaible to us; Knowledge.
