Deborah Johnston is a twenty-five year veteran of a Sheriff Deptarment west of the city of New Orleans.  By using her professional and  life experiences, she has put together a fictional character that really pushes the envolepe in all respects.

Although the  heroine in her books sometimes appears larger than life, most of the situtations used are based somewhere between fact and fiction in real life experiences...
