Well, sort of...
About the Author
Eileen
Grossman Klinge was inspired to write this, her first book, when her daughter
learned she needed glasses, and was concerned about looking “different.” Of course virtually every child experiences
this dreaded feeling at one time or another, which often results in being faced
with the Three Ts of childhood: Teasing, Taunting, and Tormenting! Did
Eileen go through this? Absolutely, she
says, because of buck teeth and a unibrow! But she made it through just fine! Eileen wanted to show through Larissa’s
humorous story that we should embrace
the fact that we are all different. And because of this we are all the same.
