About the Book
Its all about the flow and mix of the eternal and the ephemeral, unframed, without rules, ecstatic, free and full of the philosophical. Its about the passage of time, beginnings and unendings, but most of all its about the essence of and purpose of all life, Love. You may have to read them 2 or 3 times or even 4 to 10 times and each time you will see and hear and feel something unnoticed the first time. They are not just poems, they are experiences.
About the Author
Greg has been writing since he was a boy. Influenced heavily by ancient Chinese translations of poems by the ancient masters, Japanese Haiku, other Asian masters, like Tagor. All of them combined to influence his art for and personal style of expression. Whitman, Rilke, Ginsberg, Frost, Cummings and even Shakespeare’s sonnets. It is the evolution of his art that makes his poems so interesting, fresh and new.
When he was 10 years old he sent a group of poems to Random House, and actually received back a letter from Mr. Bennet Cerf, encouraging him and supporting his writing and boldness for his submission. As a teenager he was active in school publications and attended the Famous Writers school lectures and events which resulted in several encounters with encouraging results from Ray Bradbury and Rod Serling for his plays which he started to write at 12 years old. He is known by everyone around him since he was young as the writer, the poet. It’s what he does, it’s who he is.
