About the Book

It is a compilation of the author’s life experience throughout years.  The desire to write was there since early adolescence, but never had the time. It was when he remarried, that suddenly a desire to write, to put his emotions down on paper was born.  The results are this work, plus three more others the author is working on, such as a book on Haikus in progress.  The book is divided in four parts.  Each part with a title, and under it, each poem with its own title arranged alphabetically.  The theme of the poems varies.  There are some poems for his wife, some for his family members and some for his church.  The “Just Punning” section shows us, the comic side of the author.  The material for his poems was gathered when he traveled throughout the city.  Long enough distances to observe the life in the city and make notes that later on became poems.  The book contains a “Table of Contents”.

About the Author

He is a 65 year old born in Houston, TX, father of two and remarried.  He has some college education, but his real passion is music.  He is a professional musician with trumpet specialization.  He enjoys listening to Jazz and Classical music.  He is also an avid reader.  He reads many books, but every year he reads his Bible, and it is his book of reference when he is looking for answers.  He is not a scholar nor a professional writer.  He is just an average lay person who put his life experiences down on paper.  Regardless of his success, he will continue to write whether or not his works are bought or read.
