About the Book

Since the dawn of intelligent man, four friends have walked the earth. Known throughout mans sketchy and inaccurate history under various guises and some familiar names. On the whole they try their best to be good men, but if crossed or wronged, their justice was as hideous and abhorrent as the worst of nightmares, which hints at their mysterious unearthly past and the unspeakable horrors committed by their very own hands.

Solomon; the jovial, flame haired, man mountain. In many ways the keystone of the quartet, with his happy outlook and willingness to defend the young and weak.

Janus; the uncomfortable leader. For a millennia he has carried an unshakable pain, which caused the split of the four. His sadness steered him into a normal mundane life, with Solomon being his only link to a happier past.

Cyrus; successful, intelligent, handsome, the atypical playboy. His insatiable and foolish sexual appetite caused the estrangement, and ultimately hatred, from his previous best friend.

Nathan; small in stature, quiet, humble and blind. But his demon living within, when released, becomes a monstrous bringer of death, uncontrollable by himself or his three friends combined.

Armageddon and the extinction of all humanity is merely days away, so the unprepared and divided blood brothers must once again unite, don their mothballed battle gear and face an evil of such power, that the odds of victory and any hope for the future of mankind, are infinitesimal at best.

About the Author

Jez was born in Cardiff, but has lived in Llandudno, North Wales, for the most part of his life.

He doesn’t pretend to be particularly intelligent, or a professional author, but does enjoy a good book, and this project began as him attempting to write the book he always wanted to read, so he hopes you enjoy the voyage of discovery as much as he did.

He lives by the motto

“Don’t trust the cheese.”         Which has always served him well, apparently.
