About the Book

"The Reaper Effect" is a prologue story about a man named Victor who has lost everyone in his life and is in the process of moving some place new to try and start over. While on his journey, he becomes stranded in a small town where the dead feast on the living and supernatural elements are pulling the strings. This is also the first part of a man's journey into a much darker world that lives within our own.

"The Reaper Effect" is the first in a series that  will encompass a man's last night alive; and his entrance into the world of the supernatural and inhuman.

The goal of this book was to write something that possessed action, blood, gore, and ended in a way that you couldn't predict by just reading the first few chapters. This book in a lot of ways is a dedication to the horror movies of the 1980's; an era of film that has sadly all but vanished from the larger picture. Hopefully "The Reaper Effect" and other books that are new to the horror world will help to jumpstart the modern generation.

About the Author

Jason Grimm is a North Carolina native; one who's childhood consisted of one interest that surpassed the others: horror movies. From "Friday the 13th" down to cult classics like "The Evil Dead", horror was the one genre that stood out the most. With his first  novel: "The Reaper Effect"; Jason Grimm hopes to pay tribute to the films and stories that inspired him while adding new twists and flavors to the supernatural fiction people have savored for decades.
