At the base of Adirondack Gore Mountain in Upstate New York lies the tiny hamlet of North Creek, and at the edge of the town, behind the Baptist Church, the Union Cemetery. It is here that the story for The Diary of a Northern Moon, as well as my first novel, Manhattan Seeds of the Big Apple, was first conceived. It's quiet up there on that hillside. With the exception of a lone bagpiper who shows up on occasion, the only sounds that one might hear are the faint whispers of souls pleading recognition.
In l976, for Tena Waldron, a young advertising executive, blank pages are about to be filled when a gift of change and antiquity wrapped in brown paper is delivered to her apartment.
Discovering her fatherland, discovering this fatherland, was long overdue.
