About the Book
These adventurous young men can hardly be called Boy Scouts. They deviated so far from what we consider scouts that the term Junior Rat Pack is more appropriate. These guys have fun, sometimes far out fun, but they care about each other and it is evident.
Burt the head counselor has his hands full with this bunch of rogues. And his assistant, Hal is more troublesome than any of the boys. Pat has a Dad that buys him everything and he shares (sometimes). Sammy is not as rowdy as some, but he thinks up things. Glover loves to slice and chop, and Taco who cannot resist peeing in every fire he passes. Donald and I fell for nearly every practical joke dreamed up by the guys, and watched in awe as many of these tricks developed.
All the guys are standing over there by forked tree where Burt skinned the rattlesnake for his necktie. They are waiting to meet you. Come on in, we’ll have some fun.
