About the Book

Every day, all over the world from the United States to Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, we experience an interesting phenomenon.  People of all cultures, races, ages and stages of life have children.  Children with an array of eye color.  Children with varied hair color.  Children who are short in stature, and those who are toall.  Children who are scale tippers; and those who barely register any weight at all. All a wonderful mystery until they travel from the womb into the world, and then onto stages of life.

But what if people could choose the family which they are birthed into.  Like we choose who to marry, where to live or work, and even when to accept Chirst.  Most choices we make have exit strategies in the event it doesnt work as  planned.  Why not a family?

About the Author

A native of Alexandria, louisiana, Gladys Henderson-Williams, is the third child born to Rev. Paul and Iola Colwell.  God has provided her with the skills to carry out the plans for which she was created and she stands willing and able to do as He commanded. Committed to, dedicated to, and commissioned for the work of the Lord is her motto.  As she peels back the onion to reveal the truth of how ministry realtionships have been seen, she challenges us to desire a greater understanding of what it means to walk in harmoony with our family, and our pastors, but most of all 'our GOD.'

Gladys serves the Lord in the capacity of an Elder and Women's Ministry President/Coordinator at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church, Hampton, Virginia.  Gladys strives for excellence in doing the will of the Lord.  To her credit, she has written "When You're Tired of Looking Up' and 'I Didn't Get to Say Goodbye, before you went to be with the Lord.'  Gladys has also written her first stage play entitled 'Was It I Who Made You Cry?'

Gladys currently resides in Hampton, VA with her husband Andrew Williams Sr.
