My motivation for writing this book is to encourage people to reach within themselves, and become the persons that they were created to be.
The title is derived from an Aretha Franklin song from the 60s called “Chain of Fools.” A chain of fools is not a person, place or thing but an attitude and mindset that is your reality. It is where you live in your soul; it is your mind, will, and emotion.
Chain of Fools is the internal reality that has been forming within you since the time of your conception. We have all been chained to some type of belief. Consciously or unconsciously, we have been taught to believe in a certain way of life. Chain of Fools is how we see ourselves from the inside out. It is a deception of beliefs and mindsets that has been put there to destroy our destiny in life.
This book, Chain of Fools, has the power to unlock those deceptions from your existence. As I write this book, I pray that you, the reader, is set free from any imprisonments or mindsets that will hinder the purpose and destiny of your lives.
Back in the 60s, I was a young girl growing up in
I am not saying that I am totally free from all the old chains that used to incarcerate my mind. But I am learning how to be free in Christ, who took all my chains away. I am experiencing new levels of freedom even as I write these words.
You might be wondering what happened to me, why I am now able to face my fears and write this book. I had to face the reality that nothing, whether person, place, or thing, could ever change me but me. I believe that everyone was created in the love of God and because we were created in His love and His image, there are foundations for His purpose and plan within all of us. I pray that this book will be more than just a temporary fix, that this information—the revealed secrets from God—will change your life forever.
Today is the day to choose to free yourself from the chains that have bound you. There are many people who base their choices on what looks and feels good at a certain time and moment. But a quality choice, as well as a bad choice, can affect you and others around you for a lifetime. Chain of Fools was written so that you can learn from the choices you have made. Have you heard the saying “If only I knew then what I know now”? We all were once lost, but now we can be found—if we choose to make the right choices in Christ who gives life more abundantly.

About the Book
Rita was born in Pensacola,Florida,the youngest girl of eight children. Rita’s parents believed that their children should be active, committed and loyal stewards in their local church.Demonstrating that belief, her parents made sure that they attended Sunday School and Sunday Worship services each and every Sunday. After residing in Pensacola for 27 years and just prior to moving to Huntsville AL, Rita accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Just a few short years after her move to Huntsville, she accepted a divine call to ministry. Within that divine calling, Rita has embarked upon several entrepreneurial enterprises and in 1997 penned a booklet “I Have to Know Him”, in which she shares her personal testimony regarding her relationship with God, stating that He is all things to her: Father, Mother, Lover and Friend. As God demonstrated during the days of creation by keeping even the biggest of plans simple, Rita strives to follow His example. Believing a big part of that simple plan is found in John … “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” It is Rita’s heart felt belief that ones future does not have to reflect ones past and that a person, through the strength and ability of the Holy Spirit, can take control of his life through the power of knowing how Jesus loves us. She is of the firm belief that life as a whole is predestined even before that life begins and that that predestined life is only found and brought to completion through following in Jesus’ footsteps. Presently Rita is in the process of designing her own web-site with the purpose of enlightening people on who God says they are “from the Inside Out”. Rita’s web-site “Inside Out” will keep viewers up-to-date on her itinerary, speaking engagements, upcoming seminars, and her books concerning the whole person that God created them to be. Rita is married to William McDole and together they have 3 children, Tiffany, John and Candace. The McDoles reside in Huntsville AL and together they co-pastor Unity Christian Center, a Foursquare Gospel Church
