| He used to abuse me physically,mentally,and emotionally. There was one incident he grabbed me around my throat with his bare hands and picked me up against the wall. He would slap me for no reason. He had a guilty conscience because he was cheating on me with other women and would always accuse me of cheating on him. He would leave and go out of town with these women and tell me he was going to visit his family. About the Book
Facing the challenges and obstacles of life from childhood through adulthood. Growing up in the church but not having a real relationship with Jesus. With thoughts of confusion and suicide in my teenage years, I was lost and had no sense of guidance or direction in life. I didn't care about anyone or anything but myself. Overcoming the odds of teenage pregnancy and an abusive relationship. Dealing with my issues of low self esteem, depression, and not loving myself I found Christ, and I became a new person. He gave me a new sense of direction and now I know Who I Am.
About the Author
Angela Alexander is a single mother of five children. She grew up in a small town in Leary, Ga. Although she was raised by her grandmother, the relationship was strained. She held on to the knowledge of God not knowing that he would be the only thing that would get her through such turbulant times. She credits her religous beliefs to the people God has put in her life for spiritual guidance, encouragement and an overwhelming abundance of love.Today she is a very courageous woman who lives radically for Christ.
