About the Book

This is the story about family values, and the memories of growing up into adulthood.  Its the memories of the early years of marriage and the magical years when the children were growing up.  Its the learning of what it takes to earn the respect and admiration of your children.   Its also about the "Empty Nest Syndrome" you contract when they leave to begin lives of their own. Its the time when you finally realize you are no longer the center of their world, just a part of it.

About the Author

The author grew up in the small upstate New York town of Norwich, where he attended and graduated from high school in 1951. Following graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and four later Temple University to study mechine design.  Later in life he realized he knew very little about his family's history, which prompted the writing of this chronical.  He now resides in Audubon, New Jersey with his wife of fifty years.
