The Reluctant Shepherd

About the Book

Nahum is a young shepherd who has been left in charge of his father’s flock by his older brothers. While he has compassion on the sheep he really would rather not be a shepherd. This novel takes place during the birth of Jesus. When Christ is born, Nahum is beckoned by angels to come see the baby, which he does. Because his brothers taunt him, he runs away from home, not realizing he is going into Bethlehem.
