Chapter One
There was something out there, a deep unbelievable feeling lurking somewhere, but I was determined to find it. I began having these strange feelings even as a child. I always knew I was meant to be a writer, but that was all I knew. My greatest struggle was a strong desire to find meaning in my life.
Something had happened to me one day. I was with a large group of people. I was not sure who they were, but it felt as if my spirit had left me and I was in another place. It was dark outside and there were thousands of stars in the sky that spelled out words and phrases, "Straighten out your mind. Have faith in the Lord. He is coming soon." Awaking from a dream trembling and sweating, these words echoed through my mind. I ignored them, was afraid of them, and did not want to be a part of them, but I could not relax as they gnawed at me like a growling stomach needing to be fed. This was the only dream with words that I ever remembered.
There were so many lonely and unhappy people in the world unsatisfied with their lives. There were single males and females, married couples, divorced couples, seniors, and people from all denominations. Some of them were religious, some with no beliefs, and others who did not care and had completely given up. I always had a heart for these types of people and wished I could help them. I even started playing the lotto and thought that maybe if I had enough money, I could help them, but there were many wealthy people just as unhappy as everyone else.
Chapter Two
"Just don't seen to have an appetite," she answered. "Ever since my husband past away, I have no enthusiasm for life."
"I can imagine how you feel. It is difficult to lose Marsh and I have only known him for a few months."
"Try fifty-plus years," she huffed, with watery eyes.
"That is why I am here to help you."
She recoiled and lifted her shoulders. "What can you do?"
"I can help you to go to the other side without having to die."
Mum guffawed and grinned. "I will believe it when I see it. How did you get these powers? It just seems too good to be true."
"First of all you have to redeem yourself, have your life totally together, and if not, I won't be able to help you.'
"Why do you want to do this? You have your entire life ahead of you and you should be enjoying your youth."
"Mum, I am ill. Each person I send to the other side will help my health, If I can help you, then you can help me."

About the Book
This is a story about a guy who has the ability to send others to the hereafter without having to die. Many people fear going to the other side, there are many disbelievers, but each person that goes helps the main character, Joah, because he is ill. You also must redeem yourself before you can go to the other side. Meet some of the characters that are ready to leave this earth and travel to the other side of life.
About the Author
Born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Alfred Jendrasik attended Fox Chaple high school and majored in journalism. He later attended college at the University of Pittsburgh and was assistant editor of a poetry and prose magazine, Aisling, and this was the beginning of his writing career. He had to leave college and work in the hospitality field in order to support his family. Alfred had several poems, prose, and short stories published in magazines and periodicals. He also taught english and acting, and has not given up his dream to become an author. "The Other side of Life" is his first novel, and the second one is being written now "Luck It" and in the future he would like to publish a book of poetry called Sunsets and Poems. If the public enjoys his first novel, he would be excited about writing a sequel.
