Chapter 6
The relationships we encounter play a tremendous role in the decisions we make and or even the ones we avoid. It is essential to every relationship we enter that we to be sure of who we are and what we bring, be it good or bad. When we are unsure of these things, we can easily become something we aren’t. It is very easy to mimic what we believe others expect us to be instead of being true to ourselves and the relationships we enter.
Chapter 3
Happiness
For me, true happiness was discovered when I wasn’t in search of it. It was when I no longer had to ignore or overlook my inner dialogue and began to conquer my fears that I found happiness. It was, then that I no longer was willing to accept those things that only brought me momentary happiness. Instead I wanted things that came with lasting impressions and immeasurable feelings of joy and contentment.
Chapter 8
Preparation
Being unprepared could result in us missing our moment- missing our purpose.
We should enjoy life and understand our experiences. Know that our experiences bring us the preparation we need to fulfill our true purpose. Some say they live each day as though it were their last, which is a good philosophy for those who choose to live by it. I would say that understanding life and what it may or may not bring, should bring just as much thrill and satisfaction. Understand that every person, place, and thing has its own time and own season.

About the Book
A quest for purposeful soul searching, leading to fulfillment in life is the objective of Life, Experiences, Preparation, and Purpose. The book focuses on using life experiences as tools to prepare for the purposes of our lives. It is about finding true happiness and empowering yourself with the ability to accept life’s circumstances. The importance of understanding who and where you are currently in life and getting to that place where you are destined to be is thoroughly discussed. Other topics explored include building healthy relationships, understanding and growing from our failures, and the power of purposeful living.
Cousins speaks from the heart as she shares personal thoughts, questions, and even a few short stories. She explains how writing this book was the start of something new for her. Writing has given her the opportunity to tap into her inner self and begin the quest of searching for her life’s purpose. You will be moved or touched in a way that will help you discover and or continue to fulfill your true purpose.
Formatted journal style, blank pages have been provided at the end of each chapter for recording and reflecting upon your thoughts. These pages are provided for you to express who you are without reprieve and give you an opportunity to challenge yourself.
Understand who you are and begin your journey. Capture the moments that make up your life! Your experiences! Your preparation! And ultimately your purpose!
To prepare is to condition the mind and heart to receive what is to come.

At this time I am not considering myself an “Author”. Instead I am a “Believer”. I believe that writing this book was the path I was lead to. Most importantly I believe in myself. I believe that my life’s work has just begun and still has quite a journey before completion. I am a strong believer in destiny and believe that purposeful living is the key to a happy life filled with endless possibilities.

If I opened the door, know that you have been welcomed. Filled with love and never afraid to express it. I'm just me! If we met, chances are you walked away with a smile. I'm just me! Happy for trials and relish in victories. I'm just me! If I have it you got it, because I'm never afraid and always willing to give of myself. I'm just me! I'm comfortable in my environment but not afraid of change. I know who I am today and look forward to who I will become. But hey continue to be you, because I'm just me!
