About the Author

Dr. Elizabeth Phoebe Dowdy Copeland is the Founder and President of Yes I Can Global,Yes I Can School of Ministry. She is the author of: My life with God, Come Go and Bring, How To Strat Your Own Business,and How to Evangelize. She was born to Bishop Thomas Dowdy Sr. and Evangelist Rosa Mae Dowdy,October 25,1937 in Wayne County, Georgia.

She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pompano School of Business,a honorary Doctor of Divinity from American Bible College.  She has received certificated in Pastoral Care (Shepard's Care), Psychology, Family Counseling and Community Development.She is very active in the local, district, state,national and international Department of Evangelism.  She served as the First  Assistance to Dr. Reathe Herndon the Co Founder of International Department of Evangelism of the Church of God in Christ for twenty five years.  She is currently the Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Republic of the Philippines. 

She has been married to Dr. Melvin Copeland for over fifty (50) years.  They have three (3) biological children; Sharon , Melvin Jr. and Thomas; four (4) adopted children; Dorothy Donald, Catherine and Maurice.  They have over twenty-five (25) grandchildren and many godchildren.
