About the Book
This book has been described as, humorous, inspirational, and at times thought provoking. Francis, a non-denominational clergy person and his Gaurdian Angel , Sidekick, share their world with you. This world is colored by the 12 step philosophy. It is also a world where Francis is "human" and just trying to figure things out. Issues like dealing with his mother, a wise cracking Angel, and trying to keep his nephew Tom on the straight and narrow are just a few things that keep poor Francis on his toes! Thrown in between are some interesting quotes, word definitions and Francis' Rules For Life.
About the Author
David Morrison was born and raised in Norh Tarrytown (now Sleepy Hollow), New York. He currently lives in Briarcliff Manor, New York with his wife. He has four grown children and three grandchildren. When he's no cartooning he is employed by Metro North Railroad at the Harmon Shop. David has been doodling for years and has turned his hobby into a passion for cartooning. He has created four original cartoon characters. Francis is a non denominational clergy person, Sidekick is his Gaurdian Angel, his mother Gertie, and his nephew Tom. His first character, Francis P. Gaystone has been featured on greeting cards, postcards, and was part of an art exhibit in Grand Central Station, NY. From this show came the original draft of the book Together We Can Have A Few Laughs. Over the years Dave has studied at the Westchester Arts Workshop. He was also lucky enough to study under the noted cartoonist, Tom Gill.
