About the Author

Charlie Berridge is a sixty plus English man with an MA in creative writing. His first book "FRENCH LETTERS - a journey to at least three places" is a factual account of his exploits mostly in France. For two years he travelled at a snail's pace right around the country in an under-powered three-wheeled Piaggio. He wanted to escape from his very rustic mountain home in the Pyrenees and explore. Apart from the daily adventures of his "Plat du Jour Tour", he needed to get to grips with his life after a tap on the shoulder of a heart attack and sort out a future with or without the woman he did or didn't want to be with. FRENCH LETTERS is an easy read. It's short chapters will entertain. Charlie Berridge is a regular contributor to the British field sports magazines such as the Shooting Gazette, Fieldsports and the Field. He has ghost written a biogrophy of multi millionaire John McCarthy and "Building a Billion" iwill be published on My 1st 2011. Charlie lives in Frome, Somerset, England. He has two sons and a daughter from his his first marriage with four grandchildren in Australia and Hawaii. He has a young son in his second brood.
