About the Book

Have you ever been in a grocery store listening to the person on the intercom call out, “Clean up on aisle three?”  A mess had been made that was too big for just one person to clean.  They needed help.  Our lives can be like that.  Many people today are heading off to college, getting married, setting up a new living environment, getting out of a prison, or simply existing in this world with a poverty mentality; the mindset that their life can not improve or get any better than it is at its present state.  They end up making messes in their aisle due to the lack of life skills.

Clean Up on Aisle Me Life Skills 101 is a book of lessons that teach us how God can help make even the most thriving person become more successful in their everyday living.  With the help of biblical teaching, we learn that God’s plan for our lives and his desire to see us succeed can give anyone an abundant life through him versus living one with a poverty mentality; a mindset that has robbed all walks of life. We learn that some messes can only be cleaned up with God’s help. Biblical teachings and encouragement will show how you do not have to stand alone in your aisle of life. This book explores choices that can be made that please God and at the same time, help break generations of the poverty mentality.  We learn that through love, obedience, and taking responsibility, anyone can become more successful in whatever they choose as well as feeling a sense of self worth by knowing who they are in Christ.

About the Author

As a wife, mother, home educator, and youth leader, I have found that my life has taken many twists and turns.  Realizing that some of the messes in my aisle of life could only be cleaned up with the help of God, I came to know and understand that there are certain life skills that must be learned to be successful in this world we live in.

After attending Evangel University, I married in 1986. During my early college and young married years, I taught pre-school, and also worked with elementary children at our church daycare. Since then I have served in other various children and youth ministries.

The church my family attends has a heart for reaching the lost through several outreach programs. These powerful ministries have been a driving force that has increased my burden to educate and minister to people who truly do not know and understand what it takes to make it in this world we live in.

We all have trials and messes in our journeys, but what many do not realize is that there is a God who can help clean us up. There is no mess to big for him. God gives wisdom through the reading and teaching of his word.
