About the Book

Not realizing that she was falling into the ritual of a mundane every day life, Candace just woke up one day to discover that she wasn’t happy. What prompted this abrupt mood change was that she was falling in love with someone who seemed so unattainable that he became that much more exciting and challenging to her.  She learned that the falling part was the best part of it all. This was no ordinary mid-life crisis, this was a 180-degree turn that all of us face time and again in life. The decision of whether to stay on the current course or completely change everything seems so critical that we become obsessed over it. In order to make the best decision, we have to delve inside our true feelings to discover what real self satisfaction means to us.

About the Author

Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, Wendy Taylor Russell earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University in 1985. As a former newspaper journalist, Wendy has written about many topics, but has mostly enjoyed writing human interest stories. For the past 20 years, she has lived in the Florida Keys where colorful characters abound, many of whom she has interviewed for various articles, including a weekly column called “Profiles in Paradise”.  She has immersed herself in the community, volunteering on several boards and for special events; and she has been heavily involved in local politics. As a divorced mother with two teenagers, she currently spends most her time writing and creating memorable experiences with her family and friends that are worthy of her interpretive skills. Her first novel, Tour de Passion, is based on a true story
