About the Book

Greetings from Antarctica, South Pole, the coldest place on earth, next to Santa & Mrs. Claus’ home, the North Pole.

Allow me to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Zoë and I was born and hatched in Antarctica, South Pole. My name is pronounced with a long o and long e. The two dots over the e are called a dieresis, making it a long ‘e’ sound.

I’m a very young Emperor penguin chick who loves adventures and excitement and I just happen to fall into my first real adventure accidentally. Of course my being a little bit on the curious side always helps the action roll along.

I invite you all to meet my brand new friends; one a little bit larger than life and a few wiggly ones who keep the colorful sparks arching with light for us all.

So sit back and enjoy an E-ticket ride with us!

About the Author

Having been an educator for the past 21 years, with a local school district in the heart of Torrance, California, witnessing friendships of all kinds, listening to young children request their favorite books for story-time, made me think of the countless books my own child and I enjoyed at bedtime.

The one thing children never tire of, being read to especially after playing hard or just before bedtime. Good books always calm a child down and it becomes a special time between a child and their parent. Young children today have so little time to be a child, so cuddle up and read to them whenever the opportunity presents itself. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your child starts to read his or her favorite story to you.

I’m back in school continuing my education as an older student and the one thing I still do, regardless of how tired I am, is read a good book before I fall asleep, and usually awaken with the book on my chest, or my husband wakes me when he reaches up to turn the reading lamp off. An avid and voracious reader, I remain Dusty Cupp, author of Zoë and Orca
