The First Commandment

And God spake all these words, saying I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20:1-3

And Jesus answered him.  The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.

Mark 12:29

God Said, Take not unto yourselves two gods; for there is but one God: and revere me.

The Bee 16.51
