About the Book

In her new poetry book Patiently in Wait, Donnamay Stewart demonstrates, through her loving and caring words that patience is the only key to open doorways of success in one's life. Stewart believes that no major event ever takes place in life before its appropriate time and place, and that readers will find true harmony and happiness in life while enjoying her words. The author strongly feels that each individual, at some time in life, experiences a place Stewart would describe as a valley; an extremely lonely, still place, where no one truly wants to be. Stewart encourages readers that during this time, one's character, strength and maturity are being developed. These traits are the necessary tools needed to continue on the journey in the pursuit of success and inner peace. Patiently in Wait shares quiet moments, laughter, encouraging thoughts and many feelings of love.

About the Author

Stewart was born on the exotic Island of Jamaica in the cool cllimate of Mandeville, Manchester. At the age of 5, Stewart moved with her family to the United States. After the author completed high school in New York, she moved to Florida to pursue her education as a legal secretary. Stewart yearned to have the opportunity to reaquaint herelf with her homeland. In 1986 she married and returned to Jamaica, where she owned and operated a wholesale and supermarket. She since has returned to Florida, where she recently resides, to pursue her own personal dreams. Stewart became noticed by her writing and in 2006 her biography was requested by Marquis Who's Who in American Women, Marquis Who's Who in the World and Marquis Who's Who in America for four consecutive years. Her biography was also featured in Cambridge Who's Who of London. Stewart states, "With all my struggles came numerous successes, which I am humbly grateful to share with others. She would like to thank her parents for instilling in her the values, morals and independence from childhood years. All that I am and ever hope to become in life is owed entirely to them both!
