“Finish us!” shouted Profethius defiantly. Although no audible sound could be heard, they felt a voice tell them that a fate much worse than death awaited them…they were to live.
Three warriors, the greatest of their time, are charged with the protection of a living goddess…only to fail. Their punishment for failure is the curse of immortality or perhaps, they have been spared death so that they may redeem themselves on the goddess’ next incarnation.
In this episode we follow Abhay in his quest for the next location of the goddess’ manifestation. On his journey he will encounter historical figures such as Alexander and Lord Buddha, compete in the Olympics of 274 B.C. and wage war in the Near East, Burma and Vietnam. He will fall in love once, an enduring love that will stay with him until the end.

About the Author
I was born in Hounslow in 1968, the third and last child to two devoted parents who had left India in the fifties in search of a better life. I spent my formative years in Brixton, south west London, and due to the nature of my father's business we led a deliberately insular existence. During my years of 'confinment' I pored over my school atlas taking imaginary journeys to far flung corners of the globe such as Siam, Ceylon (it was an old atlas) and Hawaii, this dream time led to me making these adventures a reality and for the last eighteen years I have been fortunate enough to rack up some serious air miles.
Inspiration for the book came in part from my parents advice and experiences, "don't hate anyone..it leads to terrible things" my father would tell me with the gentle conviction of a man who had survived WW2 (where he served with the Americans in Kolkata) and the even more gruesome partitioning of India.
I owe a lot to my Brixton upbringing, it taught me how to be streetsmart whilst travelling and tough when I needed to be which in turn led to my fascination with martial arts, it has been my privilege to train under some great masters around the globe. A special thank you to Dr Ian Colwin, my history teacher, for teaching me how to study history objectively and therefore make it infinitely more interesting.
I have been fortunate enough to dabble in many different business ventures, some exiting and others life sappingly dull but through it all writing has given me the most pleasure. Well that's me, husband to one, father to two, debtor to many and currently living happily in a leafy part of Surrey.
