About the Book

About the Author

Theresa Gaffney grew up on the small island Hayling Island, off the south coast of England.

She dreamed of owning a horse, a white horse and galloping along the sands of the enticing shore that was her back yard, her garden. One day a local fisherman told her that if she wished hard enough a horse would appear out of the waves! It didn’t! She lived and breathed horses; so badly did she want a horse that it made her heart ache!

Her father a quiet, gentle Irish man was famous for his tall stories told across the bar of the cozy family pub, he surely passed his gift of the gab onto his daughter.

Constantly chastised by her mother for her wild stories and exaggerations Theresa soon learnt how to channel her vivid imagination into everything she did.

She sang in bands and a group with her sisters, she trained and sold horses in Spain, painted murals in restaurants and clubs, has written and recorded hundreds of songs, designed costumes not only for herself but other musicians and created a famous chain of English Tea Shoppe’s in the US. She loves to cook and create scrumptious dishes that titillate the pallet in Sally Lunn’s her Tea Shoppe’s.

She illustrated Kress, wrote, recorded and sang on the sound track that she hopes one day will be a movie.

At her horse farm in New Jersey, she is surrounded by her dogs and cats, rescued goats and her beautiful Andalusian horses! She loves to garden and write music and stories! My travels all over the world, the people that have been in my life and my animals are my constant inspiration. I have many wonderful stories yet to be told!
