Through the Baobab is a book of two halves. A Mother and Daughter adventure of words. Inspirational, lyrical and childlike themes reverberate throughout the pages.

Part 1 Kaleidoscope of words and dreams. A collection of poems, meditations and sayings by Angela Robinson (The Mother). A vision of life in lyrical verse, Angela brings you entertaining stories of fiction as well as epic history.

Part 2 Introvert - a thorned reality. Poems, anecdotal monologues and song by Falko (The Daughter).  This compilation focuses on relationships, distraction and the conflict of pain and dilemma; from seedling to its final pruning. Falko's journey of maintaining a femininity and delicacy within a struggle.

About the Author

Mother & Daughter:

Angela Robinson writes from her perspective and experience of life. She was born in Harare - Zimbabwe, African infusions flavour and give colour to the writings. Angela shares her poetic reflections of reality and dreams, and her love of literature with the reader, inspiring an optimistic view of life’s horizon. Angela's favourite writers are Jack Higgins, Agatha Christie, Stephen King, and of course Wilbur Smith.

Voiced straight from the heart, Falko the Expressionist (Writer, Actress & Artist) bears all, using a flare of vivid imagination and sincere honesty. Her ambition and personal mêlée blazes bright in the works.  Falko’s influences include the play writes such as  Bertolt Brecht, Brendan Kennelly (poet), and the great classics.
