The book is a motivation for would be travelers while those experienced travelers will almost certainly be able to relate to the various often amusing events that they too will have experienced during their adventures. About the Author

Martin Oliver grew up in the industrial City of Coventry England. He left school at the age of 14 to serve an apprenticeship in a local car factory. At the age of 20 he pursued a career as an engineer on ships in the British Merchant Navy and over a period of 9 years visited countries in all four continents of the world. In his late twenties he left England to live in Brazil where he became involved in the offshore oil industry. The oil industry later took him to the Middle East where he has been living for the past 16 years. He is married with three children.
