How The Snail Got Her Shell

About the Book

This book is about how the Snail got her shell.  You will follow this young, frightened snail on her journey to acquire a shell for herself and her snail peers.  Along the way,  the reader sees the world through a snail’s eyes while learning that all creatures on earth deserve to feel safe and protected.

About the Author

Danielle Nordahl is a high school student living in Northeast Ohio with her parents and younger sister.  The author wrote this story when she was a 7th grader and still living in upstate New York.  Danielle is an avid reader who loves to write short stories and poetry.  She also enjoys horsebackriding, skiing, and playing tennis when she’s not busy hanging out with her friends.  Danielle hopes to pursue a career in the fashion industry where she can hopefully combine her love of fashion with her love of writing.
